Postcard with an illustration of a youth movement member in a summer camp. Sent from Slovakia in June 1939, three months after the German Nazi conquest of Slovakia and shortly prior to the discontinuation of Jewish youth movements activities. A handwritten inscription appears on the card "Be Strong and Brave". Restored filing-holes.

Amongst them: a postcard with a Torah made of red velvet, with golden decorations; postcards with floral decorations and golden ornamentations, inscriptions in Hebrew and Yiddish. Condition varies, good.

Decorations on the cards: Eretz Israel flowers, animals; Jewish motifs and Israeli motifs: rabbis, holy books, Shofar, Hanukkah Lamps and other Judaica objects, photographs of Israeli families and "Sabra" figures holding the flag of Israel; cards printed after the Six Day War and the conquest of East Jerusalem and the Western Wall; the Holy Places and significant tourism sites in Israel; soldiers, tanks and IDF parades, naֳ¯ve children's drawings, etc.
Pasted in cardboard albums; some cards are numbered, apparently for placing orders or for the distributor's needs. Sizes and conditions vary.
