First book to published by the Ophir publishing house, co-owned by Haim Nachman Bialik, Ya'akov Seidmann and Tom Seidmann-Freud (1892-1930). One of the first Hebrew children's books to emphasize the importance of illustration in children's literature, featuring the distinctive and remarkable drawings by Seidmann-Freud, Viennese-born artist, illustrator and author. [18] pp, 21x21.5 cm. Fair condition. FFEP lacking (facsimile laid-in). Stains, tears (some of them rough). Worn binding, torn and stained.
