Colophon at the end of Devarim: "Commentaries on the Pentateuch are now completed, praise to Hashem for giving the Torah, and He shall be our strength and beacon".

Manuscript, complete essay on the Passover Haggadah. Autographic writing by the Rabbi author with additions, deletions and corrections. [Russia-Poland, c. 1830s].
Homily based essay, with references from the Zohar and Haggadah commentators. The manuscript and paper are typical of the 1820-1850s. Handwritten inscription on the first page: "this booklet is [a compilation] of novellae by -- the eldest, best known Torah scholars, nobleman [Yitzchak?]". Additional caption from the city of Blaszki [near Kalisz, Poland].
Stamped by Rabbi David Halberstam, Rabbinical Committee of Sosnowiec and the surrounding region [Gaon Rabbi David Halberstam (1895-1942) of the Sosnowiec Rabbis (Poland), son of Admor Rabbi Sinai of Zemigrad and son in law of Admor author of the "Knesset Yechezkel" of Radomsk], killed during the Holocaust.
Fifty-five leaves, varying sizes 20-22cm. Good-fair condition, water marks, restored wear damage (affecting some of the leaves' corners). Luxurious, new leather binding.

Manuscript essay on Yoreh De'ah (Shulchan Aruch), divided under two titles: "Tapuchei Zahav" for novellae on the "Turei Zahav" and "Maskiyot Kesef" for novellae on the "Siftei Cohen". [Poland-Lithuania, c.1880]. Author's autographic handwriting with numerous additions between the lines. The author served as rabbi in one of the villages of Poland-Lithuania and mentions that he resides in "the town of Mizary" and deals with the questions submitted to him. Based on verifications made on the book topics it seems the essay was written from 1850 to 1880.
Eighteen leaves, 35 cm. Closely written and divided into two lengthy columns per page, with a total of approx. 59 written columns. The manuscript is incomplete (missing leaf 2, damaged edges affecting the text, mostly on the lower parts of the leaves), fair condition.

Manuscript Shiltei Ha-Zahav, Vol.2 on Yoreh De'ah, Simanim 119-164, to clarify the words of the Taz from the questions raised by the Shach, Rabbi Ya'akov Aryeh Salant. [Jerusalem, c.1900]. Autographic writing by the author with additions and deletions.
Includes: a leaf of novellae on Orach Chaim, where he brings up situations where he has agreed with Rabbi Shmuel Salant's halachic verdicts. Additionally, there is a long letter from 1904 - a booklet of insights on the "Shiltei Ha-Zahav" vol.1- which was sent to Rabbi Ya'akov Aryeh from Rabbi "Zvi Hirsch Baharal" [Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Baharan (1883-1935), son of Rabbi Asher Lemel son of Rabbi Nachum of Zhad'ky. One of Rabbi Hirsch Michel Shapira's greatest disciples, who published some of his novellae in various compilations under the pseudonym "Ha-Tzahir"].

Disciple of Gaon Rabbi Meir Arik. Served as rabbi from year 1905 and was rabbi of Braֵov from year 1922. Authored the "Afarkasta DeAnya" and the "Michtav LeDavid". Became famous through the work he did, releasing Holocaust Agunot. Immigrated to Israel in 1949, where he became known as the "Brasov Rabbi" and was among the leaders of the "Moetzet Gedolei HaTorah" and of the "Chinuch Atzma'i" in Israel.

[This manuscript] is the beginning of an extensive compilation project, gathering references for Maimonides-based interpretations of Sugyot in books written by Acharonim and Torah essays. [The above-mentioned concept which appears in the present manuscript's essay was later implemented by the "Shabtai Frankel" edition and included at the end of every Maimonides book of that edition].

Manuscript, Sefer Nitzachon, debate of Jew with Christians, on the verses of the Bible. Vienna, (1918).
During the Middle Ages several Nitzachon [=debate] books were composed, following a number of public debates about religion which took place between Christians and apostates with Jews. This manuscript is apparently a copy of an "old Sefer Nitzachon" by an early author who lived during the 13th century, which was printed in Altdorf in 1681, and attached to the book of John Christian Vaganzeil. This book was never again printed until the publication of the book "Otzar Vikuchim" and later on in other scientific editions.
Fifty four pages, 17 cm. + Three pages copied from the book "Sipur Chalomot - Ketz Ha'Pla'ot" about the false Messiah Sabbatai Tzvi. Good condition, detached leaves, some wear.

Manuscript, Bechinat HaKabbala, contains two works: Kol Sachal and Sha'agat Aryeh, by Rabbi Yehuda Aryeh of Modena, with Part Two "Bechinat HaKabbala", containing research and comments on these books, by the publisher Yashar [Yitzchak Shlomo Rigio]. According to this manuscript, the book was printed in Gorizia in 1852. Possibly, it is in Yashar's handwriting. (Differs slightly from printed version).

Manuscript, Zot Zikaron - Avnei Zikaron, on the laws of Shechita by Rabbi Shmuel son of Rabbi Netanel Ha-Levi, fine copy. [From year 1686]. Colorful adornments on the title page and frames.
The colophon reads: "This Shechita book has been completed in the month of Tammuzג€¦in the year of 1686, by the one who serves his rabbis, Binyamin son of Rabbi Ovadia".
The author, Rabbi Shmuel Adoni-Barazani, (passed away in 1633), of the leading rabbis of Kurdistan, served as rabbi of Assyria [Mosul] and Amadea. Well versed in both the exoteric and esoteric aspects of the Torah, a holy man and miracle worker. Founded a great Yeshiva in Mosul, which attracted disciples from all around Babylonia. Many miraculous stories have become known about him and it is said that he has had the merit to see Eliyahu Ha-Navi many times. Visions and discoveries he and his father had are brought in Rabbi Chaim Vital's Sefer HaChezionot, who writes "He is a wise and G-d-fearing man, who engages in the learning of Torah and lives away from people". Authored his books on the laws of Shechita and other essays, some of which were first printed in 2003 and some of which are still manuscripts.
