Includes personal and family photographs alongside photographs of the synagogue and the Jewish cemetery in Bruchsal, a passageway and tomb-stones in the Jewish cemetery in Worms; summer camp, trips and camping [probably of "Kadima" youth movement members - attached is a handwritten letter on the movement stationery, "HaShomer" booklet of April 1931 and a stenciled leaflet]. Photographs 8.5x6 cm, album 34x25 cm. Good condition.

On the first leaf, a printed leaf was pasted with a photograph of the camp and the caption "Moshevet Lahavot HeAtid, Dror HaBonim, 1947". The photographs feature the movement members during scoutsג€™ activities, the various installations in the camp, kitchen-chores, group photographs, etc. Average size of photographs 8.5x6 cm, album 22x15.5 cm. Photograph album, "The festive opening of the Kol Yaג€™akov Yeshiva in the Muscovite great synagogue, on Sunday, 4th of Shvat, 1957".
The great Muscovite synagogue was open during the Communist era under the spying eyes of KGB secret agents. Few Jews were granted permission to pray there, especially elders, and this too only as a lip service which the Soviets paid to the world. The Kol Yaג€™akov Yeshiva which opened in the synagogue was also part of this trend. The Yeshiva included ten young men, most of whom were natives of Caucasus.
The photographs depict Rabbi Shlomo Shleifer, rabbi of Moscow, who passed away two months later, and Rabbi Yehudah Leib Levine, who replaced him and served as rabbi of Moscow for may years. 14 photographs. 19x13. A sheet of paper [worn] with captions in Hebrew and Russian is mounted on the album binding.

Three photo albums documenting a journey of the British couple, the Wronkers in Morocco, 1958. 406 photographs, including visits to many cities and villages throughout Morocco: Marakesh, Casablanca, Goulimine, Safi, Agadir, Tinzit, Mazagan, Skoura and other places. The photographs document the big cities, hotels, roads and modern streets side by side remote settlements and rural inhabitants, craftsmen and workers doing various traditional works. Some photographs document Jewish life in Morocco: the house of the righteous Rabbi Shlomo Ben Lhens in the Ourika Valley, a cemetery and its gate - "built by Chevrat Chesed VeEmet in Nisan 1926", a sign "Talmud Torah", elderly Jews, and more. Ninety three of the photographs are in color. Size varies, 11.5x9 cm to 23.5x17.5 cm. Very good condition. Three leather albums 31.5x22.5 cm.
