Trauer-Album [mourning album]. Booklet in memory of 11 members of the Scharmann and Tauber families who passed away between 1891-1924. Hebrew and German.
Ornamented leaf for each deceased member with his name, death date and death anniversary for many years. Continuation of album contains various prayers related to accompaniment of deceased, with numerous illustrations by the Viennese artist Meir Kunstadt, some of sites in Eretz Israel. Last leaf contains handwritten notations.
23 pages, 25.5 cm. Good condition. Binding slightly damaged. Inner binding unoriginal.

In the 1958 calendar, the writer hints to his living in a forsaken land and to his prayer that Hashem should revenge the dictator's rule when copying the verse "Be joyous and happy Bat Edom who dwells in Eretz Utz...".
