Shivah Shitot L'Harashba, the Rashba's insights on seven tractates of the Talmud. Constantinople, [1720]. First edition.
Owners' inscriptions from 1741 of the Great Beit HaMidrash (in
Worms) and of Rabbi Leib Sinzheim from Vienna. Few handwritten glosses and corrections.
[2], 191 leaves. 29.5 cm. Good condition, except the first two leaves and the last leaf with tears and restoration pasting on paper. Renewed cover with decorated leather spine in Dutch style, with few damages.

Mishne LaMelech, novellae on the Rambam, by Rabbi Yehuda Rosanis. Constantinople, 1731.
The first edition of Mishne LaMelech printed as a separate book (before it was printed in the editions of the Rambam). The book was arranged by his disciple Rabbi Ya'akov Kuli, author of Yalkut Me'Am Lo'ez who was a dayan in Rabbi Yehuda Rosanis' Beit Din, and he added notes and additions.
The book has 10 leaves of index added to the book after Rabbi Ya'akov Kuli's death and are not found in all copies.
The title page has rabbinical signatures and owners' inscriptions of Shabtai Ya'akov Molcho [a Jerusalem scholar, written on his tombstone: The perfect Chacham Rabbi Shabtai Ya'akov called Mirkado Molcho, died¦ 1813/1843 - According to Rabbi A. L. Frumkin in 1843 and according to M. D. Gaon in 1813 - see attached material]. On reverse side of title page, owner's inscriptions of Chaim Shlomo Elazar HaLevi [apparently a Jerusalem scholar - see attached material]. Several notes and corrections in Oriental handwriting at end of book.
[3], 2-27, 80, 112, 46, 89, [10] leaves. 30 cm. Fair condition. Stains, moth marks on leaves and binding. Detached leaves. Old binding, detached and worn.

Collection of books printed in Shanghai between 1943-1947 by Polish Holocaust refugees who escaped to Japan through Lithuania and Russia via the Trans-Siberian Railway and from there were deported by the Japanese authorities to Shanghai, China.

Sefer Mishberei Yam, responsa on four parts of the Shulchan Aruch and Be'urei Halachot, by Rabbi Aharon Moshe Kisilov from Harbin. Harbin (China-Japan), 1926.
A small Jewish community which was established pre World War I by Russian natives lived in the city of Harbin, China. The first and last rabbi of the congregation was the Ga'on Rabbi Aharon Moshe Kisilov (1866-1949), among the Lubavitz Hassidim and disciple of the"Gadol of Minsk" and Rabbi Chaim Soloveitchik. He arrived at Harbin in 1913 after serving for many years in the Borisov Rabbinate in the region of Minsk. In 1937 was unanimously appointed as chief rabbi of all the congregations in the Far East. Upon the Chinese conquest of the city from the Japanese authorities, and the establishment of the communist rule in China, the Hebrew congregation in Harbin was eradicated. During the community's 40 years of existence only 5 Hebrew books were printed there.
252, [4] pages. 32.5 cm. High-quality paper, good-fair condition, minor moth stains and pasting on margins of title page. Original binding, defective and renewed.
