Photo postcard with the portrait of the Yiddish poet and translator, native of Grodno, Leib Neidus (1890-1918). Neidus moved to Vilnius in 1908 and returned to Grodno during World War I, where he passed away suddenly from disease at the young age of 28. Beneath the photograph is a passage from a poem he composed. Good condition, ink-stamps on the reverse.
