"Alef Bet Etzim" [Tree Alphabet], postcard with the Alef-Bet letters in the shape of trees, by the painter Shmuel M. Melnik. Jerusalem, [early 1940s?].
Dedicated by the artist on the reverse; dated 1943. Shmuel Melnik (b. 1885), partner of Meir Rozin in "The first artistic workshop in Eretz Israel", decorated the ceiling of the restaurant and the lobby of the YMCA building in Jerusalem. Good condition.
