Anthology of poems, stories, music notes and illustrations, concerning the rebirth of the People of Israel in their homeland, the Tel-Hai and Galilee battles, Yosef Trumpeldor and the War of Independence. Stenciled. The booklet table of contents appears on the back cover. [1] title cover, 56, [2]pp, 21cm. Very good condition apart from some damage to the spine. Bibliographically unknown.

"Igeret Le-Chayal" and "Igeret Le-Chayelet" – two booklets by the military chaplain, Rabbi Aharon Ze'ev Eshkoli. Published by Rescuing Committee of the Jewish Agency, Italy, 1945.
Missives were written for Jewish soldiers who served in the British Army. In "Igeret Le-Chayelet" the rabbi asks the Jewish female-soldiers to avoid love relationships with gentile soldiers - "this gentile man is not worse than a Jew. But, he was not disturbed whatsoever when they massacred your mother". 7; 12 pp, 15 cm. Very good condition.
