A batch of letters sent to prominent people about the settlement of Eretz Yisrael, by Kalonymus Ze'ev Wissotzky. Warsaw, 1898.
Opposite the title page is a portrait of Wissotzky. A collection of letters to newspaper editors, Hebrew authors and Zionist activists. Amongst them are: Peretz Smolenskin, Y. L. Gordon, Nachum Sokolov, Y. L. Pinsker, Baron Rothschild, beside various texts and letters to family members.
Portrait, 336, VIII pages, 22 cm. Good condition. Few moth holes. The portrait is glued on heavy paper. Stamps and inscriptions. Original cover, restored vorsatz.
