An album which sarved as a catalogue of the Betzalel artist Moshe Murro (1888-1957), who had a workshop for sculpting in ivory and stone, 1920s-1930s.
The album has original photographs of more than 50 of his works, brass and bronze embossments, sculpting in ivory and stone accompanied by titles: in the Old City, Eliezer ben Yehuda, Henrietta Szold, Balfour, etc.- some of them are rare and unknown works that were given as gifts. Pasted to the album are later black and white photographs, which were cut out of booklets and newspapers. A photograph of Eliezer ben Yehuda's portrait with a dedication in his handwriting "a souvenir for the artist Moshe Murro…", a photograph of a letter of thanks from Henrietta Szold, a letter from Yoseph Koplowitz and other letters of thanks. On the front of the album is a photograph of JNF's Golden Book. [24] Leaves in the album with wooden cover, 30.5 cm. Good condition, varied.
