Historische Nachrichten von der Juden-Gemeinde welche ehehin in der Reichsstadt Nürnberg, von Andreas Würfel [Historic news of the Jewish Community which formerly existed in the imperial city of Nürnberg]. Nürnberg, 1755. German, Latin and Hebrew.
Book about the Jewish community of Nürnberg in the Middle-Ages, by Andreas Würfel (1718-1769). Historic facts as well as falsehoods and inaccuracies of an anti-Semitic nature.
Facing the title-page is an impressive engraving titled "Prospect der Juden Schul, wie sie stande, dort, wo jzt die Frauen Kirche" showing the Jewish synagogue in Nürnberg, Under it are six rectangles in which are seen Jewish figures in various traditional attires of the Middle-Ages: weekday attire, a Jewish woman in Sabbath attire and more.
The Hebrew texts in the book includs inscriptiones on tomb stones in the Nürnberg cemetery and "Zichron Edut" of 1426, with a detailed list of property and real-estate that Rabbi Uri Yekutiel bequeathed to his son.

The version of the oath that Jews must take when they appear before the government to receive protective letters. The document details the version of the oath to be read before the Jews in German, and also the version of testimony that the Jew must say with his head covered in German and in Hebrew (printed in the Latin alphabet, with mistakes).

[4] leaves, 35 cm. Good condition, stains.

Beleuchtung der Petition - welche (angeblich) der bürgerliche Handelstand der königl. Haupt-und Residenz-Stadt München, in Betreff der Verfalls des Handels und der Abstellung der denselben untergrabenden Missbrauche und Beeintrachtigungen. München, 1819. German.
Booklet written as a reaction to a petition submitted by München merchants to restrict Jewish commerce. The anonymous writer identifies himself as a Jewish resident of München and describes the economic situation of the Jewish members of the city's business community. He claims that Jewish merchants do not enjoy any privileges, are rather restricted in their professional choices and pay higher taxes. He calls for adopting a rational attitude towards handling the economic situation.

Four documents from the cities of Prossnitz and Boskovice, Moravia, 19th century. German.
1. Ketubah/handwritten marriage agreement, for the marriage of Miguel Bass [?] and Rivka Hoch. Prossnitz, 1814. Signed by eight people. The essence of this document is the distribution of the couple's assets in the case one of them dies and they have no children.
2. Correspondence concerning a will. Prossnitz, 1827. Handwritten letter to the authorities in Plumenau, asking to execute a will. The request was probably submitted by families Somer, Gruen and Fleischer, heirs of the deceased sermonizer Handelbach, who mentioned them in his will from 1818.
3-4. Two tax receipts given to the Jew David J. Tietze. Boskovice, 1848. Given against payment of 2 Kreuzer per day.

Detailed plan consisting of twelve paragraphs, composed by the brothers Yosef and Shimon Szántó (Hungarians), for the establishment of a new, modern school in Vienna to replace the "Heder" (Talmud Torah), similar to schools already established in Frankfurt and Hamburg. A dormitory will be erected next to the school; the teaching methods will be modern and in the spirit of the times, the syllabus will include sciences, history, drawing, mathematics, and extracurricular activities such as gymnastics, agriculture, handicrafts and more. Amongst them a letter from HeChalutz office confirming receipt of 100,000 Kronen for "Keren HaAliya". Total of 48 items. Sizes and conditions vary.
