Novak's poetry is one of the early examples of proletarian-communist poetry in Hebrew. The cover design utilizes a unique typography by the artist Manuil (Emanuel) Shechtman (1900-1941) – a graphic designer, painter and theater-set designer, student in Kiev's art academy, close to the literary circles in Kiev at the 1920s, and active in the areas of culture and art. 47pp, 22.5cm. Good condition. Corner of page 3 missing. From the collection of Prof. Chimen Abramsky.
