Prayer for the cessation of the cholera epidemic “Please merciful G-D, healer of ill…”, [Germany, c. 1835].
“This prayer was established by the Admor… Rabbi Avraham Bing Av-Beit-Din and Rosh Mativta of Wuerzburg … and he commanded to recite it… in all congregations which are afflicted by the disease…”.
The author, Rabbi Avraham Bing (1752-1841, Otzar HaRabbanim 252), Av-Beit-Din and Rosh Yeshiva of Wuerzburg. Among the greatest Torah scholars known in his generation.
33 cm. leaf. Good condition, minor tears and stains on margins and folds.

Panorama des Heiligen Landes. A lithograph printed map, according to the original drawing by Rabbi Chaim Shlomo Pinie of Sefad, [c. 1875].
The original map was printed on fabric in 1875. This is a lithographic black and white printing identical to the original printing and different from later facsimiles. The mountains, seas and walls of Jerusalem are hand-painted. Printed on the frame: "The shape of the Holy Land within its borders with all its marks and straits, cities and villages, mountains and hills… ". The map is divided into five vertical strips, according to the areas of Eretz Yisrael, from the west to the east. Contains an impressive description of the cities, rivers and mountains, sites and tombs of tzaddikim, the shape of Jerusalem and Makom HaMikdash, the Kotel HaMa'aravi, the tombs of the Kings; The tomb of Rashbi; Sefad and the tombs of the Tana'in, etc.
