Chidushei Rabbeinu Chaim HaLevi – novella and commentaries on the Rambam, Rabbi Chaim HaLevi Soloveichik. Brest Litovsk (Brisk) 1936. First edition.
Rabbi Chaim HaLevi of Brisk, forbearer of the scholarly approach to learning later adopted by Lithuanian Yeshivot. This book was written over the course of many years and underwent countless modifications "up to one hundred times" (quote of author's sons in foreword), and until this day is considered one of the fundamental works on Talmud study.
