From the wording of the title page, the year and location of the manuscript are difficult to determine, but apparently, this is a copy from Samarkand, of 1878 or afterwards based on the edition printed in Livorno at that time.
40 leaves. 17.5 cm. Good condition, stains. Old binding, paper and leather, decorated Persian-Bukharin style.

Collection of antique handwritten segments on the Bible and the Targum, on parchment leaves. [Yemen, 15-17th centuries].
These leaves were found at the “Bindings Geniza”, [in Yemen, it was customary to put Geniza inside book bindings], based on the writing, it seems like all leaves, except for one (the big one), were written in Yemen.
2 big leaves, and about 20 cut segments. Varying size and condition, all leaves are affected.

A long and interesting letter of responsa about Halacha and scholarly riddles, [Yemen, 19th century?].
The letter is written in poetic phrase, sent to "Rabbi Salam Manztur" and at the end the sender's curled signature: "… --- --- Nagar". The letter contains 19 responses to questions and dozens of other halachic riddles. On reverse side inscriptions [of recipient?] of responses to some of the riddles.
A long narrow leaf 12.5X48 cm. Good-fair condition, tears to folds (without missing text).
