Laws and commentaries in Yiddish-Deitsch. The four foundations (Yesodot) are the foundation of fear (of Heaven), the foundation of love, the foundation of service and the foundation of blessing. In this edition as in the Hebrew edition printed in Amsterdam that same year, only the first two foundations appear. The approbations at the beginning of this haggada are from the Hebrew edition (see Otzar HaHagadot, 305-306; Ya'ari 204). [2], 54 leaves, 23 cm. Good condition. Stains. Creases to title page and to other leaves margins. Few restored damages. This Yiddish edition is rarer than the Hebrew edition.
