Designed for use as example for scribes [according to the custom that each column of the Sefer Torah starts with the letter vav]. The book was printed in two editions, this edition has vowels with cantillation notes and numbering of psukim and chapters.
At beginning of book, booklet "Meir Netiv" about the holy and mundane names in the Torah. At the end of the book, "Luchot Ha'ibur" – calendar leaves [folded] for determining special days [Hebrew and Spanish]. The haftara of Shabbat Eichah with Spanish translation.
Breishit: [11], 65; 26; Shemot: 66-121; [2], 28; VaYikra: 122-163; [2], 24; Bamidbar: 164-221; [2], 16; Devarim: 222-272; [4], 267-290, [8] leaves [this copy has one title page per chumash except Bamidbar. Sefer HaMagid – Nevi'im Rishonim, Nevi'im Achronim and Ketuvim, with Rashi commentary, Yiddish-Deitsch translation and Agudat Shmuel. Amsterdam, [1699].
A miniature edition in four volumes. The Yiddish-Deitsch translation is a continuation of Tzena U'Rena on the Torah and written by the same author [Rabbi Ya'akov Mianov]. This edition has been edited and its language is not identical to previous editions.
Agudat Shmuel is written by the publisher Rabbi Shmuel Delogatch – First printed in this edition [it is a compilation from various sources and books – most unknown from any other source such as, Hagahot Rabbi Ovadia HaNavi, Sod Meisharim, Emek Hashem etc.]. This compilation has been included in parentheses in Rashi's commentary. (see: C. Liberman, Ohel Rachel, 1, pages 310-329).
The volume of Tehillim (Psalms) has owner's handwritten signature; "Zvi Hirsh Chayut, Monday 22nd of MarCheshvan 1824" – apparently, the signature of the Maharitz Chayut (1806-1857) in his youth.One of the leading scholars of his generation, Rabbi of Zholkiev from age 23. From 1840, his glosses on the Talmud were printed in many editions and he wrote many books. Fought the battle of faithful Jewry opposing the maskilim . He had much contact with the Chatam Sofer regarding responsa and the Chatam Sofer held him in great esteem (see HaDarom, 1958, Booklets 5-6, The Chatam Sofer's Attitude towards the Maharitz Chayut).
Volume 1 – Nevi'im Rishonim: [omissions at beginning and end] [5], 279, 290-379, 390-559, [1] leaves [missing: title page (substituted by photocopy) until Leaf 37, except one leaf of approbation. At end missing: Leaf 549, and from 556 until end]. Volume 2 – Nevi'im Achronim (Yeshaya-Yechezkel): 379, 390-549 leaves. Volume 3 – Ketuvim: 480 leaves. Volume 4 – Ezra-Trei Asar: 346, [2] leaves [missing and substituted by photocopies: title page and last leaf].

Up to leaf 59, the Fürth edition is an exact replica of the Sulzbach edition (minus changes in the adornments).
