Prayers that Rabbi Aharon Mendel (HaRe'em) HaCohen Rabbi of Cairo wrote for his community members. Cairo, [1917-1919].
"A prayer before the heichal on the last day of Passover in 1917". *A prayer for the Israeli army at the borders of Eretz Yisrael" (written for the soldiers of the Hebrew Brigade of the British Army that were in Egypt). *Prayer for the 24th of Kislev 1919, and another prayer.

Chiddushei Torah in various matters. Some of the notebooks contain lengthy lists which appear to be a methodical composition of a summary of Halachot and Sugiyot. Hebrew and Dutch.

Manuscript of Rabbi Baruch Zvi Moskowitz, novella on aggada written as introduction to his book Mishmeret Zvi. Rabbi Baruch Zvi HaCohen Moskowitz-Rappaport (1907-1950) learned 7 years in the Satmar Yeshiva from his Rabbi author of Keren L'David. He was a faithful Chassid and traveled to the "Ahavat Yisrael" in Vizhnitz, to the "Minchat Elazar" in Munkach, to Rabbi Aharon of Belz but he was primarily attached to Rabbi Yoel of Satmar. After the holocaust, he served as Rabbi of the Yera'im congregation in Paks and its surroundings; there he established an important yeshiva. He served as rabbi of Budapest and in 1959 he moved to Vienna. During that time, he wrote and published his important books Tenuvot Baruch, Mishmeret Zvi etc. He was a close friend of the Gaon of Papa, author of VaYechi Yoseph, and of the Rebbe of Satmar, author of Beirech Moshe, since their youth. 7 pages. Two handwritten leaves. Copy of commentary in the name of the Mekubal "Rabbi Shimshon of Ostropoli… I heard that he explained the pasuk…". [Safed?, Ashkenazi handwriting from the 19th century].
On second leaf [same handwriting], a riddle and inscription "in commemoration of the marriage of my son Nachum Zvi to his wife Henya, in the winter… in 1888".
Varied size. Good-fair condition. Apparently, they were written on binding leaves of books.

Manuscript of sermon in honor of Chag HaShavuot, by Rabbi Ben-Zion Chai Uziel, Chief Rabbi of the Tel-Aviv-Jaffa community, 1936.
Various drafts appear upon the reverse side of the pages, 2 of which are written in his handwriting: “Joy and Prayer, arranged by the Chief Rabbinate of the Tel-Aviv district, in honor of the coronation of our esteemed king as ruler of Great Britain and the Indian empire”.
Rabbi Ben-Zion Chai Uziel (1881-1953), was born in Jerusalem to his father, Rabbi Yosef Refael, of an old-established family of Rabbis in Jerusalem, descendants of the Chikrei Lev. In 1910, he was appointed Chief Rabbi of the Sephardic community in Jaffa. In 1921, became Chief Rabbi of Salonica and in 1923, Chief Rabbi of the community of Tel-Aviv-Jaffa. In 1939 was in London as emissary and representative of the Jewish settlement in Eretz Yisrael, in that same year he was appointed Chief Rabbi and Rishon LeTziyon of Eretz Yisrael. Included in his writings are Mishpatei Uziel, Michmanei Uziel, Hashofet VeHamishpat and more.

An ancient manuscript from the book Chut HaMeshulash on the Torah by Rabbi Yehuda Divan [printed in Constantinople 1739]. The manuscript begins in the middle of Parshat Lech Lecha and is discontinued in the middle of Parshat VaYechi.
Rabbi Yehuda Divan, (died 1752, Otzar HaRabbanim 6904) a chacham of Sefad and Jerusalem, a member of the Beit Din of the "Admat Kodesh". Was an emissary of Eretz Yisrael. He also wrote the book Zivchei Shelamim on the laws of shechita.
50 written pages, c. 21.5 cm. Oriental handwriting. Fair-poor condition, large stains and wear with omissions.
