Uncut sheet with 4 donation receipts for the support of the residents of Jerusalem. The receipts are dated from the1880’s and come in a decorated frame, with tabs on their right side.
Based on the receipts text, the recipient of the donation commits himself to “Pray for the donor’s wellbeing at the Western Wall and other Holy Sites in the Land of Israel”.
33.5 cm. Good condition. Tears on the edges with slight damages to the receipts. Few stains.

Printed with golden ink. In the center, a drawing of "LaMenatzeach" menorah, at the top of the branches are drawings of the holy places and cities. At the bottom, a drawing of the site of the Beit HaMikdash surrounded by drawings of the holy places and the cities Jaffa, Nablus, Haifa, Safed and Jericho.
In the leaf margins, the publisher's name is printed: C. David Chai Einee, and also a prohibition of copying from the 8th of Elul 1907, for the next 7 years.
29.5 cm. Fair condition. Tears, some professionally restored. Minor moth holes. Creases and few stains.

Members of the Estreich-Galicia Kollels in the Four Holy Cities added handwritten greetings for Rosh HaShana, to Rabbi Zvi Aryeh Level from Vienna who contributed to the Kollels, as well as an expression of hope that he will continue to donate in the future.

The Kabbalist rabbi and researcher, Rabbi Yehosef Schwartz , was born in Germany in 1805, immigrated to Jerusalem in 1833, and passed away in 1865. Until this very day his books are fundamental for discussions in matters of the Holy Land, both in the Halachic and scientific-historical realms.
