15 Travel tickets – methods of payment. 1940's and 1950's.
A rare collection of travel tickets by public transportation, that served also as currency (paper tokens) when there was a lack of coins of low value (until 1954). Some of the tickets also served as a contribution to Magen David Adom in case the ticket was not used.

182 methods of payment that were used instead of money for buying food in the grocery stores and in organizations.
Includes a very wide variety of bodies that printed "notes" for their use: communal associations, dairy products plants, grocery stores, consumer associations, restaurants, the Jewish Agency, IDF, soldiers' organizations, Chassidic communities, HaMashbir etc.
Items from the Ottoman period, the British Mandate and The State of Israel.

Includes: two invitations and tickets to a prayer with the participation of the High Commissioner in Churbat Rabbi Yehuda HaChasid; a new year card from Yechiel Michal Pines; an invitation to visit the Sha'arei Chesed neighborhood, etc.

8 "gift certificates" receipts and vouchers from the US, the 1950's.
"Scripts" – Coupons bought with dollars or received in Israel from organizations or relatives abroad, enabling people to buy products in stores during the tzena period by presenting the coupons to prove US "support".
