Sefer Yismach Yisrael, on the Torah. Parts 1-5. By Rebbe Yerachmiel Yisrael Yitzchak [Danziger] of Aleksander. Lodz, 1911-1912.
Fine first edition, wide margins.
At the end of part 1: "holy letter sent in 1907 to strengthen religion and faith". At the end of Part 2: Wills of the Rebbe and his father. At the end of Part 5: "Holy letter to dwellers of Krakow… to establish a gymnasium".
On the bindings-pages before and after both volumes, appear handwritten indices to Chassidut issues mentioned in the book.
On title page of Bereshit part is an interesting inscription about the full name of the Rebbe Yitzchak of Vurke named also "Yisrael Yitzchak".

Sefer Ha-Zechirot – on the six commandments of remembrance. With commentary by the author of "Marpeh La-Nefesh", and commentary by Rabbi Levy Yitzchak of Berditchev. Tchernovitz, 1857.
The book was first printed in Zolkwa 1764 by Rabbi Raphael ben Zecharya Mendel, Dayan of Frankfurt am Main on Chovot Ha-Levavot. To the second edition (Mezirov 1794) has been added commentary by Rabbi levy Yitzchak of Berditchev and since then a few editions were printed.
On the last page of this edition appears a Torah writing by Rabbi Meshulam Feifish Heller of Zbariz whose book "Derech Emet" has been printed in the same printing press two years earlier.

Kuntress Ateret Israel, words of Torah and Chassidut by Rabbi Israel from Chortkow. Warsaw, 1904.
The first book about the teachings of Rabbi Israel from Chortkow who was appointed Admor after his father Rabbi David Moshe, holy son of Rabbi Israel Ruzhiner.
Another edition was published that year in Husyatin. There is a difference between the two editions at the end of the first Drasha.
16 pages and printed cover. 17.5cm. Good condition, foxing, slight damages in the cover.
The cover is rare and doesn’t appear in the Bibliography Institute CD nor in Winograd and Rosenfeld CD.

Founder of Yeshivot "Tomchei Tmimim". Occupied himself with public lobbying for Russian Jewry in front of the Tsar authorities.
