Debenture of the "Bizur Ltd." Company, with 21 coupons (no. 1-21). Printed in red ink on the certificate and each of the coupons is the inscription "Specimen" in Hebrew and English.
The "Bizur" company was established in 1936 by "Keren Choser Avodah" (Unemployment Fund) of the Histadrut Labor Federation and the Jewish Agency in order to help ease unemployment in Palestine. The company gave loans for funding the establishment of workers' neighborhoods, paving roads, building bridges, building public buildings, and more. In 1959, Hapoalim Bank purchased the shares of the company.
