"Aktiaberl, Ilyustriter Choydesh far Aktiberlech", a journal issued by the central committee of Lenin's Communist Society of Youth of Ukraine and the People's Commissariat of Education, issues 7-8. Kiev, July-August 1938.
Two issues of the journal "Aktiaberl", edited by the Soviet-Jewish writer Fayvl Sito. The issues contain tales and poems (some of them translated from Russian) by the poets and writers Shifre Kholodenko (sister of poet David Hofstein), Itzik (Yitzchak) Kipnis, Moyshe Khashchevatski, and others, and many illustrations. Among the illustrators: V. Litvinenka, V. Delutsky, S. Nadelman, and others.
Two issues: 19 pp per issue, approx. 19 cm. Condition varies. Detached leaves. Dampstains (mostly in issue no. 7). Stamps on issue no. 8. Tears and minor blemishes.
