Two handwritten children's books, illustrated in ink and watercolor. Leipzig, 1927 and 1930. German.
1. Das Bilderbuch vom kleinen Erich [The picture book of little Erich]. [Leipzig], 1927.
[11] pp, approx. 18.5X23 cm.
2. Von Morgens früh bis Mitternacht, ein Tag aus Erharstrasse 8 [From morning to midnight, a day on 8 Erharstrasse St.], by Mammi Grate. Leipzig, Hanukkah and Christmas 1930.
Based on the style of illustrations and script, it seems that the two books were made by the same woman.
Enclosed: a handwritten greeting card illustrated by hand; a Real Photo postcard with a picture of a young couple; a handwritten note.
Good condition. Stains and minor blemishes. Tears along the edges of the covers and along the spines. One of the covers is detached.
