11 postcards with Jewish context; some issued by Jewish organizations. Various publishers and places of printing. [Late 19th century / first half of the 20th century].
Including: * A postcard of the Aug. & Fr. Rothschild company from Köln, sent in 1893. * A printed postcard by Oscar Kohn of Trieste, about Torah scribes and citron merchants, 1894. * A postcard of the "Committee of the Society for Supporting Jewish Farmers and Tradesmen in Syria and the Holy Land", signed by the head of the committee (Avraham Greenberg). Sent in 1898. * A Postcard of the Manischewitz Matzah factory in Cincinnati, Ohio, 1922. * A postcard of the "Schocken" publishing house in Berlin (advertisement for the "Schocken Library" series). * Postcard of "Otzar HaMaccabee" (fundraising for training and immigration) from the Leipzig Fair that took place in August 1938. * Additional interesting postcards.
Size and condition vary. Good overall condition. Two of the postcards are double (a postcard attached to a stub which also serves as a postcard).
