"The goal of this practical guide… is to summarize in one booklet and in simple and understandable language practical rules for defense against airstrikes… (from the Hebrew introduction).
The guide, which was published during World War II, several weeks after the bombing of Haifa by the Italian Royal Air Force and in proximity to the bombing of Tel-Aviv by the Air Force, contains specific instructions for defense against airstrikes, explosives and gas bombs, instructions for building shelters and putting out fires, instructions for giving first aid, instructions about "emergency food and kitchen", and more. The guide is accompanied by dozens of demonstrative illustrations, alongside many advertisements for businesses in Palestine.
