Medal and Pendant – the Harel Brigade and the Negev Brigade during the War of Independence

Medal of the Negev Brigade and a pendant of the Harel Brigade during the War of Independence [ca. 1949].
1. Medal of the Negev Brigade, with its emblem – two stalks of wheat with a sword at their center (the emblem of the Palmach), surrounded by two olive branches, and beneath them, the Hebrew legend "the Negev Brigade". On verso of the medal, the Hebrew legend "The Detached Negev" and beneath it a list of the operations of the brigade during the War of Independence: "Yoav", "Be'er Sheva", "Chorev", "Uvdah", and more.
Diameter: 30 mm.
2. Pendant of the Harel Brigade, with its emblem: two stalks of wheat with a sword at their center (the emblem of the Palmach), surrounded by bunches of grapes and the Hebrew legend "Harel Pal-Mach". On verso of the pendant, the Tower of David is seens and above it a list of the operations of the brigade during the War of Independence: "HaShayarot", "Har Zion", Nachshon", Harel", "Danny", "Yevusi", and more,
Diameter: 30 mm. With a suspension loop (not pierced).
