1-2. Two photographs by Bonfils: * General view of the city of Hebron. The photograph is captioned in the plate in French: "Hébron vu de la quarantaine". * A photograph of the Western Wall Plaza, captioned on the plate in French: "Vue générale de l'emplacement du temple de Salomon". Both photographs are signed in the plate.
3-4. Two photographs by photographers of the American Colony photography department in Jerusalem: * A photograph of the Mosque of Omar, captioned in the plate in English, German and French: "Mosque of Omar. Omar Moschee. Mosquée d'Omar". * A photograph of David's Citadel, captioned in the plate: "Citadel of Zion. Citadelle de Sion". Signed on the right margin of the plate: "American Colony Jerusalem".
The four photographs are mounted on three cardboard plates. Photograph 2 (the Western wall Plaza) and photograph 4 (David's Citadel) are mounted on both sides of one plate, on the margin of which there is pen writing: "1906 1908"
Approx. 22.5x28.5. Good overall condition. A few stains and minor blemishes.
