Esther scroll. [Persia, early 20th century].
Small format. Persian script. 21 lines per column. Rolled on a wooden roller with a crown-like top.
Height of parchment: 12 cm. Height of roller: 15 cm. Good condition. Stains. Breaks to wooden roller. Lacking pole at the bottom of the roller.
· Enclosed is a piece of parchment, illustrated with colorful borders (pillars, arches and floral ornamentation), with the blessings recited upon reading the megillah and a piyyut. [Persia, ca. 19th/20th century].
Height of parchment: 12 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains. Faded ink.
