Parchment amulet for matrimonial love and peace. [Oriental countries, first half of the 20th century?].
Handwritten on a long narrow strip of parchment.
"To send His holy angels to Nissim son of Regina and his wife Ellen daughter of Esther to place love between them…".
With Names of Angels "who are appointed over love", with kabblistic illustrations and "Angels' seals". Written at the end of the amulet: "It should be successful, in the merit of Sharabi" [apparently, referring to the renowned kabbalist R. Shalom Mordechai Sharabi – the Rashash].
Long narrow parchment strip, 4X70 cm. Good-fair condition. The parchment is rolled and puckered. Peeling at the beginning of the amulet, affecting text. Few stains.
