Letter of Good Wishes, from Rabbi Michel Yehuda Lefkowitz to his Mechutan R. Yosef Shalom Elyashiv

Letter of good wishes (9 lines), handwritten and signed by Rabbi Michel Yehuda Lefkowitz to his mechutan R. Yosef Shalom Elyashiv. [Bnei Brak, ca. 1970s].
"Mazal tov and lasting joy to my mechutan…R. Y.S. Elyashiv and to his Rebbetzin, upon the marriage of their granddaughter, daughter of R. S. [Shlomo]…".
R. Michel Yehuda Lefkowitz (1913-2011) was the mechutan of R. Yosef Shalom Elyashiv (1910-2012) - Rabbi Elyashiv's son, R. Binyamin David Elyashiv (author of Yad Binyamin), wed R. Lefkowitz's daughter. They maintained a long-lasting close relationship and after the death of R. Lefkowitz, R. Elyashiv remarked that his mechutan protected the purity of Torah education in our times.
