Two Early Poetry Books by Uri Zvi Greenberg – Warsaw, early 1920s – Yiddish
1. Farnachtengold [Twilight Gold], by Uri Zvi Greenberg. "Di Zeit" publishing, Warsaw, 1921.
The publishing house emblem on the title page was designed by Henryk Berlewi. Different ink-stamps of the Harbin Jewish congregation (Russian) and the "Jews of China in Israel" appear on the title page and on more pages.
207, [1] pp, approx. 19 cm. Good-fair condition. Trimmed margins, with text omission to several pages. Some stains. Dark margins of leaves. Front endpaper is detached. Pen and color pencil inscriptions on the title page and the following page.

Cover designed by Wolf Weintraub, the title-page font was designed by Greenberg. Author's portrait by Henryk Berlewi.
85, [2] pp + [1] plate with author's portrait, approx. 30.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Creases, slight stains and damage. Tears and open tears at margins of portrait plate and front cover. Two tears to front cover restored with adhesive tape. Lacking back cover. New binding.
Enclosed: additional copy of the book "Farnachtengold", lacking pages 1-80 (the title, author and publishing house are printed on a label pasted to the front binding), damaged copy, with detached binding and leaves.
