Collection of Press Photographs – Six Day War and Sinai Peninsula Settlements – 1960s-70s

27 press photographs documenting the days following the Six Day War and the Israeli settlements and tourism in the Sinai Peninsula, by Efraim Erde, Assaf Kutin, Zohar Baram, Werner Braun and other photographers. Sinai Peninsula, 1960s-70s.
Among the photographs: soldiers in the Umm Bugma Mining camp, a military vehicle at the Abu Ageila junction, Israeli navy ships on the Sinai shores, military parade in honor of the founding of the Nahal outpost Dikla, first house in the Di Zahav settlement, first grade with four students in Di Zahav (1972), a convoy of trucks transporting prefabricated buildings to Di Zahav (1973), Di Zahav after flooding in 1975, the Neviot settlement, tourist and bathing facilities on the shores of Dahab Gulf, etc.
Numerous photographs bear the photographers' stamps on verso and most are titled and dated. Photographers: Efraim Erde, Assaf Kutin, Zohar Baram, Werner Braun, Baruch Me'iri, Zeev Spector, Shalom Marder, Yisrael Simionsky, and others.
27 photos, 16.5X24 cm. to 13X18 cm. Overall good condition. Stains. Creases. Few defects. Minor tears to some photos.
