Photograph Album – IDF Soldiers in Judea and Samaria Post Six-Day War
About 120 black and white photographs, documenting IDF operations in Judea and Samaria following the Six-Day war. [Late 1960s].
The photographs depict, among others: "Chargol" helicopters (Sikorsky S-58) during flights (bringing in soldiers, aerial photographs and more); Guard posts near villages; prisoners in imprisonment facilities; residents watched by IDF soldiers; confiscated weapons; a photograph documenting, presumably, an investigation facility – a trapdoor with a rope attached to a ring above the door; and more.
About 90 photographs are arranged in the album and the others are loose. On the back of one photograph appears a pen inscription: "Above the town of Tubas".
Photographs: approx. 10X7 cm. Good overall condition. Album: approx. 31 cm. Markings in color-pencil to some of the album leaves.
