Joseph Rudi / Issa Sawabini – Three Portrait Photographs – Jaffa, Early 20th Century

1. Portrait photograph of a woman by photographer Joseph Rudi. Jaffa, [1913].
The photograph is divided on verso for use as a postcard. On verso appear the photographer's ink stamp (Photographie artistique I. Rudi, Jaffa, Palestine) and a dedication, handwritten, by the photographed woman: "Souvenir to my cousin, Leah Katz[…] from your cousin Rachel Litvinovsky, 1913" (Hebrew).
14X9 cm. Good condition. Some defects to margins. Stains.
2. Portrait (cabinet card) of a man, by the photographer Joseph Rudi. Jaffa, [early 20th century].
The photograph is mounted on a cardboard card with photographer's details appearing on both sides of card.
Photograph: 14.5X10 cm. Card: 16.5X11 cm. Good condition. Some defects to photograph and to margins of card.
3. Portrait photograph of a mother and her daughter by the photographer Issa Sawabini. Jaffa, [early 20th century].
The photograph is mounted on a cardboard card with name of photographer embossed on it. The card is stamped with photographer's wax-stamp.
Photograph: 5.5X9 cm. Card: 16X12 cm. Good condition. Stains. Some defects to margins of card.
The photographers Joseph Rudi and Issa Sawabini are not mentioned in "Photographers of Palestine" by Guy Raz.
