Two Issues of "Newsletter of American League for a Free Palestine" – Washington, 1947

News of the American League for a Free Palestine, issues 1 and 2. Washington, 1947.
Two issues of the bulletin "Newsletter of the American League for a Free Palestine". The issues feature, among others, news about fund raising for camp refugees in Germany, organization of a protest demonstration in New-York following the execution of Dov Gruner "Oleh HaGardom", passages from support speeches by American leaders, news from world press and essays against the Yeshuv leadership.
"American League for Free Palestine" was founded in 1944 by members of ETZEL organization delegation in the United States, in order to influence American public opinion and promote the idea of a Jewish state. Among the members of the organization were Hillel Kook, Eri Jabotinsky, Yermiyahu Halperin and others. The issues offered here were distributed in Palestine in order to promote the actions of the committee, which was censored, apparently, by the British administration and the Jewish Agency.
