Attached is volume of Shulchan Aruch Yorh De'a, part II. (Lemberg 1864), signed by the rabbi, within which this manuscript of novellae was found.
Rabbi Chaim Shimon Landa, "the scholar of Krakow", of the elderly of Chortkov Chassidim, went at an early age to Sanz, Turisk and Husiatyn. Adhered later to Rabbi David Moshe of Chortkov and his son Rebbe Yisrael. See attached material.
