Manuscript – Essays from Chabad

Manuscript, an article on Parashat Shekalim-Mishpatim, 1874, from the Admor Maharash, and two short essays on circumcision from "Torat Admor" [=the old Admor, author of "Tanya"].
Admor Maharash – Rabbi Shmuel Schneersohn (1834-1882), youngest son of the author of "Tzemach Tzedek". In 1866 became Admor of Lubavitch, [his older brothers served as rabbis and Admorim in Kapust, Lyadi and Lyazni]. Passed away at a young age and was succeeded by his son Harashab (1861-1920), the fifth Admor to in the Lubavitch dynasty and founder of the "Tomchei Temimim" yeshivot.
Manuscripts [bichalach] containing essays from Maharash, are rare and not very widespread.
13 pages, 15 cm. Quality paper, good-fair condition, slight moth damage and minor stains.
