Letter from Rabbi Menachem Mendel Zak Av Beit Din of Riga (capital of Latvia). Tishrei, 1931.
He was sent to the management of the Torat Chaim Yeshiva with a contribution from a donor and with blessings for a good year.
The Gaon Rabbi Menachem Mendel Zak (1871-1943), Rabbi in Kandau, Mithau and Riga, served as Chief Rabbi of Latvia. Before his passing, the "Or Same'ach" entrusted his monumental work "Meshech Hochma" on the Torah to Rabbi Zak and Rabbi Zak published it.
