Rabbi Chaim Aryeh Leib Lerner (1893-1975) from the city of Lerdine was one of the disciples of Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Teitelbaum from Sighet, author of the “Atzei Chaim”. In 1929, he emigrated to the United States and served there in the rabbinical office. In 1957 he published his book “Imrei Chaim” with the “Atzei Chaim” pamphlet. [“What I have heard from the holy Rabbi from Sighet” – things that weren’t printed in his book].
