Letter from Rabbi Chaim Binyomin Plotkovitz Rabbi of Radzilow (Poland). Adar 1939.
Handwritten letter signed “Chaim Binyomin Plotkovitz, the Rabbi here”. Official stamp at top of letter “Rabbi of Hebrew Congregation Radzilow-Koyvask”. End of letter has ink-stamp “Rav of Radzilow”.
Rabbi Chaim Binyomin Plotkovitz was one of the elder Polish Rabbis who was killed during the Holocaust. His son, Rabbi Yosef Shlomo was Rbbi of Ruzhan (he was the son-in-law of Rabbi Naftali Friend author of “Pnei Levy”, a Gerrer chassid). He died during his father’s lifetime in Tammuz 1939.
