"Ma'asse HaYam, Chronikat Perush" by Michal Govrin. A travel journal starting in Rio De Janiero and ending in Jerusalem. The Journal is written in the central column on the leaf, surrounded by interpretations (passages of poetry, philosophy, citations from dictionaries or Jewish sources and illustrations) resembling a Talmudic page. The book is accompanied by eleven original copper engravings by Liliane Klapisch, made using a combined technique of aquatint, soft-ground and dry-point. The engravings are signed and numbered by Klapisch:18/78.
