A diverse collection of about 130 bookplates – Ex-Libris. [Europe and Palestine, 19th and 20th century].
The collection includes, among others:
* Original prints (bookplates and various labels) by artists, among them: Ludwig Schwerin, Micahel Fingesten, Epharim Moshe Lilien, Herman Struck, Joseph Hecht and more. (Some are signed by the artist). * Book plates with images depicting Jewish images.
* "Ex Libris, A[dolf] M[etus] Schwindt". Published by Darmstädter Werkkunst, [1926]. A folder with 12 bookplates illustrated by Schwindt, mounted on paper leaves (without the accompanying text). * "25 Ex Libris von A. H. Scherer". 25 bookplates illustrated by August Hermann Scherer. Signed in pencil and mounted on paper leaves.
Size and condition vary. Overall good condition.
