Three "Mishmar HaAm" Items. Jerusalem – 1948-1949
* "Mishmar HaAm" badge, Jerusalem. Two fighters – a woman and a man, on a background of a Star of David with the Tower of David in the horizon. Diameter: approx. 3 cm. Good condition. Soldering traces on the reverse.
* Pocket notebook, "Mishmar HaAm" Jerusalem. Issued by the Planning Department, 1948, Jerusalem. A notebook with personal information of its bearer, detailing the functions of Mishmar HaAm, instructions for emergency, sanitation instructions, nourishment instructions and instructions for saving water in times of siege. The front cover is bigger than the booklet and doubles over, creating a pocket with blank notes within.
