Collection of Letters – Dr. Josef Kastein – 1930s

Collection of about 40 letters, most of which are addressed to Dr. Kastein while some were written by him, from 1934 through 1939. German, English and Hebrew.

Some of the letters concern his request to lecture in the United States; one letter concerns the publication of his book and in one letter he announced that he will not donate money for starving people in Spain as long as there are starving people in Eretz Israel.
About 44 letters, most of which are typewritten and several are handwritten. Size and condition vary.
