On the front endpaper is a signature in pen from 1888 - N. Taylor Phillips - apparently that of Naphtali Moses Taylor Phillips (see enclosed material for biographical details).
VII, 352 pp, 20 cm. Good condition. Tears to margins of several leaves. Adhesive tape on inner side of binding and on first leaves. Inscriptions in pencil. Damage to binding, spine damaged and torn.
