Volume containing 24 issues of a satiric Jewish periodical "Schlemiel", published in Berlin during the years 1903-1906 and resumed in 1919-1920.
The issues include poems and texts by Else Lasker-Schiller, Sholem Aleichem, Uriel Birenbaum, Max Yungman and others, with numerous humoristic illustrations by the artist Menachem Birenbaum as well as illustrations by Uriel Birenbaum, Hermann Struck, Jacob Steinhardt and others.
