Ernst Stern (1876-1954), a Jewish-German theater stage-designer, born in Romania, worked for the "Deutsches Theater" in Berlin, directed by Max Reinhardt, and created dozens of stage designs. Moved to London when the Nazis rose to power.
[11] leaves, 66X49 cm. Good condition. Foxing. Some creases and damage at margins of leaves. Some damage to portfolio.
