Silver Plate – "Jewish State"

A silver plate with an inscription "Jewish State". [Eretz Israel, 1940s].
Silver (marked: "LG Silver 833", on the bottom of the plate); engraving.
In the center – map of Eretz Israel and its flag. Around the central engraving – a floral pattern. Above it the words "Jewish State" and below – "17 Kislev 5798" (Hebrew, November 29 1947).
On November 29, 1947, the United Nations General Assembly decided to end the British Mandate and establish two independent states in Eretz Israel – a Jewish State and an Arab State (Partition Plan).
Diameter: 14.8 cm. Good-fair condition. Bends, some corrosion.
